Study of the rheological properties of SAE20W50 mineral oil

Abstract: In this study, the rheological characteristics of SAE20W50 oil were examined using an Anton Paar MCR302 rheometer. Through the fitting of experimental data, four rheological models were developed to represent the oil’s behavior under increasing shear rates and elevated temperatures. These models accurately depict the rheological properties of the tested oil, as indicated by their correlation coefficients being nearly equal to one.
