Zero budget natural farming: A sustainable approach to low-cost cultivation

Author(s): Jommi Bogo and Kasinam Doruk

Abstract: The groundbreaking method of sustainable agriculture known as Zero Budget Natural Farming (ZBNF) encourages environmentally friendly farming methods, improves soil health, and boosts crop yields while lowering expenses. Through the use of natural resources and the elimination of external inputs, ZBNF provides small-scale farmers with a practical way to enhance their standard of living and help create a more sustainable food system. This strategy emphasizes biodiversity promotion, natural resource conservation, and the use of locally produced materials. Food security, environmental sustainability, and the lives of farmers could all be improved by zero budget natural farming (ZBNF). Farmers can increase soil fertility, save water, and lessen their dependency on chemical inputs by implementing ZBNF.
