Abstract: The Calcium channel antagonistic activity of 45 1,4 dihydro pyridine derivative as antihypertensive drug related to 50% growth inhibitory concentration of log [1/IC50] were used to develop quantitative structure activity relationship. The multiple linear regression method was applied to select the descriptors. The six parametric model were found to be the best which give the variance of more than 85% (R2 = 0.8504). Our results have shown that six parametric model containing Wiener index, Balaban Accentric index and Balaban type of indices along with physicochemical parameters play a dominant role in modeling inhibitory activity.
