Synthesis of zinc oxide by co-precipitation method
Author(s): Paulcy Rani PR
Abstract: Zinc oxide (ZnO) nanostructures have versatile application due to their wide range of electrical, piezoelectrical, chemical sensing, and optical properties. In this present work, zinc oxide was successfully preparation through the facile chemical co-precipitation method and followed by calcination at 300°C. The crystal structure of the synthesized material was confirmed through X-ray diffraction (XRD). Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) analysis confirms the presence of functional groups. XPS analysis was carried out to examine the chemical composition. The surface morphology has been investigated using a field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE SEM).
