Effect of different integrated yogic practice modules on anxiety of middle-aged women

Abstract: The aim of the research was to determine the effect of several integrated yoga practice modules on the anxiety of middle-aged women. Only sixty (n=60) women from the Sivagangai District and the surrounding areas were chosen for the study. The age ranged from 35 to 55. Group I was made up of Asanas (N=15), Group II Surya Namaskar (N=15), Group-III Combined Asana & Surya Namaskar (N=15), and Control Group (N=15). The subjects were divided into three equal groups of fifteen people each. For a total of twelve weeks, the course met three days a week. A 45-minute training session was all that was required. Group III served as the control group and received no unique guidance. In questionnaire to analysis the anxiety level. The data were supplied by the Control and Experimental groups. For statistical analysis, use the dependent "t" test and Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA). It was concluded that the "F" ratio of the adjusted post-test means was statistically significant. Each occurrence was tested with a fixed degree of confidence of 0.05. The combined asana and Surya namaskar group improved in the anxiety more effectively than the asana and Surya Namaskar group.
