Metal Oxide Nanostructures as Gas Sensor: Review

Author(s): Rajendra K Pawar, Deepak T Tayde and Vinayak R Bagul

Abstract: Gas sensors have been used more in everyday life and in industry over the past few years. There has been a lot of focus in recent years on developing gas sensors that use metal/metal oxide nanoclusters. It has been demonstrated that the production of nanoparticles on the surfaces of the films, grain sizes, types of gases, and operating temperatures all have a significant impact on the chemisorption and physisorption processes. Recent developments and characteristics of gas sensors have been covered in this review. This review presents recent advancements in and improvement metal oxide gas sensors.
