Abstract: The experiment was conducted in the field of AICRP on vegetables crops, Horticultural Research cum Instructional Farm, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur (C. G.), during the rabi season of 2019-20. Twenty two genotypes of tomato including two check Kashi Aman and Punjab Ratta were evaluated for yield and quality traits. All the experimental materials were raised in randomized block design and replicated three times. Among the genotypes, 2019/TODVAR-5 (364.20 q) performed higher yield per hectare (q) followed by the genotype 2019/TODVAR-4 (277.16 q) and Kashi Aman (266.51 q). The genotype 2019/TODVAR-5 was also recorded highest number of fruits per plant (29.87), fruit yield per plant (1.93 kg) and maximum fruit diameter (6.00 cm).
