Abstract: The investigation was carried out at Dinkar Research Farm, Isarwada (Gujarat) during late kharif/rabi 2020-21 in Randomized Block Design with three replications. The experimental material comprised of nine genotypes. The analysis of variance revealed that mean sum of square due to genotype was highly significant for eight characters studied. High phenotypic and genotypic coefficients of variation observed for Plant height, Number of fruits per plant and Fruit yield per plant. High heritability coupled with high genetic advance as per cent of mean were observed for Plant height, Number of branches per plant, Number of fruits per plant, Fruit length, Fruit diameter and Fruit yield per plant suggested that genotypic variation for the characters is probably attributed to high additive genetic effect and selection would be rewarding based on phenotypic performance.
