Abstract: The present investigation entitled The Evaluation of Varietal Performance on Growth and Seed Yield Parameters in Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) was carried out at Field Experimentation Centre of the Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences. Prayagraj (UP) during Kharif-2019. The experiment was laid out in Randomised Blocked Design, consists of 13 varieties, among them V13 (NBEG-3) significantly increased seed yield parameters of chickpea. with Maximum Number of branches, Number of Nodules per plant, Number of pod per plant, Number of seeds per pod, Pods weight per plant, Seed yield per plant, Seed yield per plot, Biological yield, Harvest index, were observed in V13 (NBEG-3) Followed by V4 (GNG-1958), V5 (JG-11), and V11 (BG-212).
