Abstract: The present investigation was conducted at Pulses and Castor Research Station, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari during kharif 2017-20 with a view to study heterosis and other parameters of four crosses (each having P1, P2, F1, F2, BC1 and BC2 generations) in a Compact Family Block Design with three replications. Out of four crosses, cross II (GNP-401 X GNP-1B) and cross IV (GNP-401 x NPDK 15-12) recorded positive and highly significant relative heterosis and heterobeltiosis. Inbreeding depression was also recorded positive and significant in above mentioned crosses and values were 45.91% and 49.11% respectively. Relative heterosis value for cross II was 82.78% and for cross IV was 112.21%. Heterobeltiosis value for cross II was 80.43% while, for cross IV was 13.64%.
