Abstract: Two field experiments were conducted at Anbil Dharmalingam Agricultural College and Research Institute, Tiruchirappalli during 2018 and 2019. The main plot treatments consisted of three varieties viz; V1: TRY1, V2: Paiyur2 and V3: CO(Ra)15. The sub-plot treatments were I1: IW/CPE ratio of 0.4, I2: IW/CPE ratio of 0.6, I3: IW/CPE ratio of 0.7, and I4: IW/CPE ratio of 0.8. The seasons were Kharif. The design used was split plot design with three replications. The study indicated that the variety, CO(Ra)15 with IW/CPE ratio 0.8 and 0.7 recorded the highest grain yield and on par.
