Abstract: An experiment was conducted in the tissue culture laboratory of Division of Vegetable Science and Floriculture, SKUAST Jammu to standardize an efficient protocol for direct shoot regenerations in chrysanthemum (chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat) cv. Maghi White. Nodal segments were cultured on MS medium containing different concentrations and combinations of BAP and NAA. Earliest shoot emergence (4.94 days), highest number of shoots per explants (3.45) and maximum mean shoot induction (80.10%) were obtained on MS medium supplemented with 2.0 mg/l BAP + 0.50 mg/l NAA.
