Abstract: An experiment was conducted in the department of Horticulture, Bihar Agricultural College, Sabour to show the effect of some plant growth regulators on fruit drop in Kinnow mandarin. The plant growth regulators viz. 2, 4-D (10 and 20 ppm), GA3 (25 and 50 ppm) and NAA (10 and 20 ppm) were applied on 15th October and 15th November separately and in both the months to check the impact on pre-harvest fruit drop and physical parameters. Exogenous application of growth regulators 2, 4 D (20 ppm) in both the months significantly decreased the pre-harvest fruit drop percentage leading to increase in total number of fruits per plant, fruit weight, length, width and juice percentage.
