Abstract: A field experiment was conducted in calcarious vertisol at Irrigation Water Management Research Centre (IWMRC) Belavatgi, Navalgund taluk of Dharwad, Karnataka, during kharif 2016-17 and 2017-18. The experiment was laid out in split plot design, main plot is consists of irrigation scheduling whereas and sub-plot includes integrated nutrients management levels with three replications. The pooled data on sunflower during 2016-17 and 2017-18 revealed that, irrigation scheduling at 0.8 IW/CPE and application of RPP + PSB + GM (one row of sunhemp between two rows of sunflower) has significantly noticed higher growth attributes viz., plant height (176.73 cm), number of leaves per plant (at 60 DAS- 33.03), leaf area index (at 60 DAS- 2.39) and growth attributes like head diameter (18.18 cm), number of seeds per plant (1400.17), test weight (40.04 g), seed (18.28 ha-1) and stalk yield (41.57 q ha-1) of sunflower at harvest.
