Abstract: A field experiment was conducted at Zonal Agricultural Research Station, UAS, GKVK, Bengaluru during kharif 2017 to study the effect of sulphur and boron on soil chemical properties and nutrient uptake of sesame (Sesamum indicum L.). The experiment was laid out in a factorial RCBD design with 12 treatments replicated thrice. Application of 40 kg sulphur and 5 kg borax per ha recorded significantly higher sulphur (40.36 kg/ha) and boron (0.39 ppm) content in soil after harvest of crop and application of 30 kg sulphur with 5 kg borax per ha recorded significantly higher uptake of nitrogen (40.23 kg/ha), phosphorous (15.01 kg/ha), potassium (45.23 kg/ha), sulphur (13 kg/ha) and boron (162.4 ppm) followed by application of 40 kg sulphur with 5 kg borax per ha.
