Author(s): RH Ingole, GM Waghmare and DH Bobade

Abstract: The present investigation “was carried out at Department of horticulture, Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani. In the experiment 10 treatments with 3 replications are arranged in randomized block design. Papaya plants have transplanted in month of July. The recommended dose of N, P and K in Marathwada region is 200:200; 250 g per plant per year. The plants will be treated with the various inorganic fertilizers as per recommendation. The inorganic fertilizer sources are straight fertilizers, water soluble fertilizers. In the response of different levels of recommended dose of fertilizers and their split applications in monthaly, bimonthly and trimonthaly after transplanting of papaya with respect to growth characters viz., plant height (cm), stem girth (cm), number of leaves, petiole length of leaf (cm), number of leaves per plant, total leaf area (m2) after transplanting by individual or in combination at different percentage and its time. Regarding growth attributes where as maximum recorded in T2 i.e. application of 80% RDF through water soluble fertilizer at monthly interval in 180,240and 300days after transplanting as compared to others.
