Abstract: The present studies were carried out in Model farm, Dr. YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Solan during the year 2016-17. Seven years old trees of uniform size and vigour planted at (4.0 x 2.0) m2 spacing were selected for the studies. The experiment was laid out in a randomized block design with 9 treatments viz.Control (Water spray), Urea0Boron0.1, Urea0Boron0.2, Urea 0.5 Boron0, Urea0.5 Boron 0.1, Urea 0.5 Boron 0.2, Urea 1.0Boron 0, Urea 1.0 Boron 0.1, Urea1.0 Boron 0.2. The maximum increase in tree height (27.59%) and tree spread (36.82%) was recorded in trees sprayed with Urea 0.5 Boron 0.2. Annual shoot growth (30.83 were also observed significantly higher under the treatment Urea 0.5 Boron 0.2.
