Abstract: A field study was conducted on the “Effect of different levels of nitrogen and phosphorus on physico-chemical properties of soil in Green gram (Vigna radita L.) Var. Samrat” at the Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry Research Farm, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, Prayagraj during Kharif season 2018. The soil of experimental area falls in order Inceptisol and soil texture was sandy loam. treatment combinationT8-L2F2 [@ 100% NPK ha-1+ 100% FYM ha-1] combined use of NPK resulted in significant increase on enrichment of soil fertility status. FYM in combination resulted in a slight increase in pH 7.21, EC 0.24dSm-1. In post soil of NPK fertilizers observations were resulted in significant increase in OC 0.74%, Particle density 2.61 g/cm3, Bulk density 1.25 g/cm3, Pore space 51.10% and available N 326.26 kg ha-1, P 33.68 kg ha-1, K 199.80 kg ha-1as compared to T0 (control).
