Abstract: A field experiment was conducted at sorghum research station, Parbhani on black cotton soil during rabi 2017 to study the effect of fertility levels on the yield of grain sorghum genotypes. Soil was low in available nitrogen (142.50 kg ha-1), medium phosphorus (16.80 kg ha-1) and high in available potassium (355.60 kg ha-1). The experiment consisted of 12 treatment combinations comprising four genotypes (SPV 2348, SPV 2405, CSV 29 R, CSV 22 R with three levels of fertility (50, 75and 100% RDF), laid out in factorial randomized block design and replicated thrice. Results showed application of 100% RDF (F3) recorded significantly higher grain yield (3161 kg/ha), fodder yield (7145 kg/ha) as compared to rest of the fertilizer levels. Hence, it can be concluded that there is need to go with 100% RDF level of fertilizer to rabi sorghum as it responded better to higher dose of fertilizer. Among the genotypes CSV29R and CSV 22R produced more grain, Fodder yield, GMR, NMR as compare to other genotypes only they were at par with each other over the other test entries SPV 2348 & SPV 2405.
