Abstract: Field experiment was conducted during Rabi 2014-15 at C.S. Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur, India involving eleven treatments to observe the effect of integrated nutrient management on wheat. Highest grain yield (46.40 q ha-1) and straw yield (57.30 q ha-1) was with the application of 100% RDN +25% N through vermicompost +30 kg S ha-1 + 5 kg Zn ha-1, which was 104.4 and 86.94percent higher than the yield of control, respectively. Integration of 30 kg S ha-1 with100% RDN + 25% N FYM produced grain and straw yield higher by 11.65 and 9.92 percent than 100% RDN + 25% N FYM in that order. Similarly, integration of 25% N vermicompost +30 kg S ha-1 + 5 kg Zn ha-1 with 100% RDN recorded maximum N,P,K, S and Zn content as well as uptake in comparison to other treatments. Protein content was maximum with 100% RDN +25% N vermicompost +30 kg S ha-1 + 5 kg Zn ha-1. Integration of vermicompost, S and Zn with 100% RDN was most productive and profitable whereas, 100% RDN was economically superior to other treatments. Maximum improvement in soil health was observed in 100%RDN + 25% N vermicompost.+30 kg S ha-1 + 5 kg Zn ha-1.
