Abstract: An experiment was conducted using twelve different treatments including bioagents such as Pseudomonas flourescens@2g/kg, Trichoderma viridae @5g/kg and Bacillus subtilis@2g/kg and chemicals viz, Nativo@1g/lt (trifloxystrobin 25% + tebuconazole 50%) and Pulsor@0.75g/lt (thifluzamide 24 SC) and cultural practices such as early sowing, mid sowing and late sowing were set out to know their efficacy on suppressing the disease in field conditions at 10 days interval using highly susceptible variety CM 202, which were laid out at Zonal Agricultural Research Station, V.C, Farm, Mandya during Kharif 2014. The results obtained showed Significantly minimum PDI i.e., 13 per cent and maximum grain yield (49.78q/ha) was recorded in treatment with the foliar spray of Nativo (1g/lt) at 30, 40 and 50 DAS which is statistically on par with combined seed treatment and foliar spray with Trichoderma viridae (5g/kg) which recorded 14 per cent disease incidence at 70 DAS. Integration of effective seed treatment with biological control agent alone or in combination followed by foliar spray with fungicide were found more effective in the management of TLB and also increased the grain yield.
