Dimension of interpersonal cognitive and social problem solving skills among children

Abstract: The present study was carried out in Hisar district of Haryana state. Social problem-solving test- revised developed by was used to assessed interpersonal cognitive problem-solving skills of children. Interpersonal Problem Solving by Shure and were used to measured children's interpersonal cognitive problem-solving skills for avoiding the anger of their mothers. Clearly shows that for Peer Problem task strategies revealed that effect of income group was significant for proportional use of "non-forceful" strategies, F = 8.5***; and "forceful" strategies, F = 10.5***. Among "non-forceful" strategies, follow-up tests were significant for "Pro social" strategies, F = 12.7*** and "authority-aid" strategies, F = 4.9*. Among "forceful" strategies, follow-up tests were significant for "physical attack", F = 10.2***; "grab" strategies, F = 10.5*** and "command", F = 5.6**. Mother problem tasks follow-up test revealed that the effect of income group was significant for "apology-truth", F = 4.20*; "replace", F = 4.10*; and "repair" strategies, F = 4.6*.
