Abstract: The present study was executed in Palli Siksha Bhavana, Institute of Agriculture, Visva-Bharati University in the year 2016-17. In the present study attempt was also made to study the nature and extent of changes occurred in the knowledge, skill and adoption pattern of the respondents as the result of KVK training interventions. A Before-After research design was employed for the purpose. Three major areas like, Crop Production, Horticulture and Income Generation were considered for this purpose. For ascertaining the extent of changes occurred in knowledge about different farming practices sets of knowledge statements have been framed separately for three broad areas. Respondents were asked to mention their response in a three point scale containing fully known, partially known and not known with corresponding score of 2, 1 and 0. Knowledge Index was calculated for each respondent by using the same formula. Distribution of respondents on the basis of their Knowledge Index in before-after situation is presented below separately for three broad areas.
