Abstract: The experiment was carried out in the field to study the effect of sulphur and zinc on yield and chemical composition of summer Greengram. The experiment was comprising twelve treatment combinations of four levels of S (0, 10, 20 and 30 kg S ha-1) and three levels of Zn (0, 1 and 2 kg Zn ha-1) which were replicated three times. The results indicated that application of 30 kg S ha-1 significantly increasing seed (1039 kg ha-1) and stover yield (1967 kg ha-1) of green gram over 20 kg S ha-1 (S2), 10 kg S ha-1 (S1) and control (S0). Likewise, Zn application 2 kg ha-1 also resulted in the highest seed (1008 kg ha-1) and stover (1883 kg ha-1) yield over 1 kg Zn ha-1 (Zn1) and control (Zn0). The N, P, K and S content in seed and stover were also improved with the increase in S and Zn levels, resulting in higher uptake of these nutrients by seed as well as stover. The Micronutrient Zn contents in seed and stover were also increased significantly with successive increment in S levels and Zn levels. Accordingly the uptake of these micro-nutrients was also influenced by the application of S and Zn.
