Abstract: Four antibiotics (@100 ppm, 250 ppm and 500 ppm conc), five botanicals (@ 5%, 10% and 15% conc.) and four bioagents viz., Pseudomonas fluorescens, Bacillus subtilis, Trichoderma harzianum and Trichoderma viride were evaluated by in vitro against Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. citri (Hasse). Among the different antibiotics and antibacterial chemicals, streptomycin sulphate @ 500 ppm, among botanicals ginger (Z. officinale) @ 15% and among the bioagents Trichoderma harzianum showed maximum inhibition zone as 24.3mm, 12.3mm and 23.6mm respectively. The fungicide vitavax, turmeric (botanical) and Bacillus subtilis (bioagent) were found less effective against the Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. citri.
