Abstract: An investigation was conducted at Banana Research Station, Nanded, Maharashtra, during year 2016-2017. The field experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design and replicated thrice. The experiment consist of nine treatment combinations viz., T1 - 100% RDF (Control), T2 - 75% RDF + Soil application of VAM (25 g/ plant), T3 - 75% RDF + Soil application of Azospirillum (25 g/ plant), T4 - 75% RDF + Soil application of PSB (25 g/ plant), T5 - 75% RDF + Soil application of VAM (25 g/ plant)+ Azospirillum (25 g/ plant)+ PSB (25 g/ plant), T6 - 100% RDF + Soil application of VAM (25 g/ plant), T7 - 100% RDF + Soil application of Azospirillum (25 g/ plant), T8 - 100% RDF + Soil application of PSB (25 g/ plant), T9 - 100% RDF + Soil application of VAM (25 g/ plant) + Azospirillum (25 g/ plant) + PSB (25 g/ plant). The quality parameters viz., days taken for ripening (6.21), shelf life (14.19 days), weight of pulp (115.45 g), weight of peel (34.23 g), pulp to peel ratio (3.44), TSS (22.88 0Brix), reducing sugar (11.37%), non-reducing sugar (4.64%) and total sugar (16.21%) were recorded by treatment T9i.e., 100% RDF + Soil application of VAM (30 g/ plant) + Azospirillum (25 g/ plant) + PSB (25 g/ plant). However, the minimum days taken for ripening, shelf life, weight of pulp, weight of peel, pulp to peel ratio, TSS, reducing sugar, non-reducing sugar and total sugar recorded by treatment T1i.e., 100% RDF (Control).
