Abstract: An experiment was conducted to find out the suitable micronutrient or their combinations for soil application in onion at the Horticulture Research Farm, R.A.K College of Agriculture, Sehore (M.P). The experiment comprised of total ten treatments of micronutrients and control. The experiment was laid out in randomized completely block design with three replications.Application of RDF and soil application of micronutrients treatment T7 (RDF + Borax 35 kg/ha) recorded significantly maximum growth in plant height and leaves length at 30, 60, 90 and 120 days after transplanting followed by T4 - RDF + Zinc sulphate 25 kg/ha and T10 - RDF + Copper sulphate 25 kg/ha.where as maximum leaves per plant was observed in the treatments (T4) - RDF + Zinc sulphate 25 kg/ha and followed by (T10) - RDF + Copper sulphate 25 kg/h. The maximum width of leaves were recorded in the treatment (T10) - RDF + Copper sulphate 25 kg/ha followed by (T4) - RDF + Zinc sulphate 25 kg/ha, (T7) - RDF + Borax 35 kg/ha, (T9)- RDF + Copper sulphate 20 kg/ha, (T6)- RDF + Borax 30 kg/ha at 30, 60, 90 and 120 DAT. The minimum width of leaves was noted in(T1) - RDF (NPK 120:60:60 Kg/ha.) control at 30, 60, 90 and 120 DAT.
