Abstract: An experiment was carried out to study the “Effect of foliar application of different chemicals and humic acid on fruit yield and quality of custard apple (Annona squamosa L.) cv. Local†at Horticultural Research Farm, and P.G. Laboratory, Department of Horticulture, B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand, during August- October, 2017. Treatments comprised foliar application (At marble stage and 15 days after first spray) of different chemicals viz. Potassium sulphate (K2SO4 @ 1 and 1.5 %), Potassium nitrate (KNO3 @ 1 and 1.5 %), Calcium chloride (CaCl2 @ 1 and 1.5 %) and humic acid (1 and 1.5 %) along with control. The experiment was laid out in completely randomized design with three repetitions. Among all the treatments T7 (Humic acid @ 1%) treatment was found most effective treatment and recorded significantly maximum fruit yield/plant, fruit weight, fruit diameter, total soluble solids, total sugar, reducing sugar, non-reducing sugar, ascorbic acid shelf life whereas, there was no any significant effect on acidity.
