Effect of organic fertilizers on yield and yield attributes of cluster bean (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba L.) Cv. Pusa Navbahar

Abstract: The present investigation entitled “Effect of organic fertilizers on growth and yield of cluster bean (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba L.) Cv. Pusa Navbahar†was conducted during year 2017 at Fruit Research Station Jambuvadi, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three replication. In all, there were eight different treatments T1: control without any treatment, T2: RDF 20:40:00 NPK kg/ha, T3: FYM @ 5 t/ha + Rhizobium culture @ 20 ml kg-1 seed, T4: FYM @ 5 t/ha + Rhizobium culture @ 20 ml kg-1 seed + PSB @ 20 ml kg-1 seed, T5: FYM @ 5 t/ha + Rhizobium culture @ 20 ml kg-1 seed + PSB @ 20 ml kg-1 seed + KSB @ 20 ml kg-1 seed, T6: Vermicompost @ 2.5 t/ha + Rhizobium culture @ 20 ml kg-1 seed, T7: Vermicompost @ 2.5 t/ha + Rhizobium culture @ 20 ml kg-1 seed + PSB @ 20 ml kg-1 seed, T8: Vermicompost @ 2.5 t/ha + Rhizobium culture @ 20 ml kg-1 seed + PSB @ 20 ml kg-1 seed + KSB @ 20 ml kg-1 seed. Different treatments were significantly affected by number of cluster per plant, number of pod per cluster, length of green pod (cm), green pod kg/ plant, green pod kg/ha, dry pod kg/ha.
