Abstract: A pot experiment was conducted at Net house, Department of Agricultural Chemistry and Soil Science, College of Agriculture, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh to study the “Effect of sulphur and boron on summer sesamum (Sesamum indicum L.) Under medium black calcareous soils during summer 2016. The pot experiment comprising of different four levels of sulphur viz., 0, 10, 20 and 30 kg S ha-1 and different four levels of boron viz., 0, 1, 2 and 3 kg B ha-1 in Factorial Completely Randomization Design replicated three times were tested in the experiment The results revealed that the yield was significantly influenced by the various levels of sulphur and boron. The application of sulphur 30 kg S ha-1 and boron 3 kg B ha-1 significantly increased the no. of capsule plant-1, dry matter yield (15.33 gram plant-1) and seed yield (5.66 gram plant-1).
