Abstract: A field experiment was conducted to Assess Economical feasibility of Rice Transplanting Machine in district Balaghat of Madhya Pradesh (India) at Jawahar Lal Nehru Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya, College of agriculture, Murjhad farm Balaghat. The experiments consist field level survey of few farmers using rice transplanting machine for seedling transplantation on their own field. The various observations recorded during the experimentation. Rice is the important major crop in the district. Farm mechanization plays an important role in rice production as well as saving time and cost of cultivation. There are number of farm implements being used in rice field from field preparation to its harvesting and processing. It has been observed that timely rice transplanting of seedling has play an important role in rice production and productivity. Rice transplanting by transplanter machine gives significant changes in rice cultivation. Rice is very labour-intensive crop. Input cost is increasing day by day due to increase in cost of labour, fertilizer, seed, insecticide and other critical inputs. Farmer in the district selling their produce to government cooperative society at Minimum Support Price. Benefit cost ratio in traditional rice transplanting is about 2.5:1 but mechanical method it increases up to 3.8:1.
