Triazoles as antimicrobial: A review

Abstract: The chemistry of heterocyclic compounds has continued to be an active prospect in the field of organic chemistry. Triazole derivatives have been occupying an unique position in heterocyclic chemistry because of their biological activities. The small and the simple triazole nucleus which is present in compounds is involved in research work aiming at evaluating the new products possessing anti-microbial activity.
