Synthesis and characterization of new Organosoluble Poly (ether-amide)s bearing Xylyne, sulfoxide and sulfone in the main chain: Theoretical study

Abstract: New poly (thioether-amide)s containing thiosalycilic acid units were prepared and their solubility and viscosity were evaluated. The viscosities of polyamides are in the range of 0.41-0.56. These polyamides showed good solubility in common organic solvents. Theoretical calculation were performed on the monomers.
