Equations of state of hard-body fluids: an exhaustive comparison

Abstract: In this paper, we have tested and compared the performance of the available equations of state with the available simulation data for non-spherical bodies of different geometrical shape. A comparison of ellipsoids of revolution for Prolate and Oblate molecules by density functional theory has also been made. These equations of state perform very satisfactorily for many fluids with different geometrical shape of HCB’S.
