Abstract: The Vilsmeier Haackrnreaction is a world-wide strategy in the formylation of aliphatic and aromaticrncomponents; this application was further extended to synthesize heterocyclicrncompounds through cyclisation. Herein we report a simple two step synthesis ofrnpyrazole derivatives by the fusion of quinoline through the Vilsmeier -Haackrnprocedure.
