Effect of ionic strength on the stability constants of complexes of 3–(4–chlorophenyl)–4-(3–pyridine)–5-(2–hydroxy phenyl)–pyrazole with Cu (II), Tb (III), and Nd (III) metal ions

Abstract: The determined the stability constants of the complexes of chloro pyrazoles with some metal ions and seernthe effect of various ionic strengths on the stability constants. The interactions of Cu (II), Tb (III) and Ndrn(III) metal ions with ligand i.e. 3–(4–chlorophenyl)–4–(3–pyridine)–5-(2–hydroxy phenyl)–pyrazole atrnvarious ionic strengths in 70% dioxane-water medium has been investigated by Calvin-Bjerrum pH metricrntechnique at 27 °C. The obtained data was used to study the correct mechanism of the complexationrnreaction and the results were used to show the linear relationship.
