Abstract: Estimation of genetic variability in the germplasm of a particular crop is prerequisite for making any effective breeding programme. To bring about improvement in this crop, the knowledge of magnitude of genetic variability and the extent of heritability of desirable characteristic is essentially important because the phenotypic selection depends upon the range of genetic diversity present in the population. Therefore, an attempt was made to study the genetic variability, heritability and genetic advance among various horticultural traits of cauliflower genotypes.
